Hardwired load cells or strain gauged bolts have been used previously for flange management rigs in training centres and for demonstration rigs at exhibitions. These systems are often cumbersome to use, difficult to transport and fragile.
Alongside our standard InterBolt product offering, we offer solutions specifically targeting these applications such as the InterBolt Asset App which enables visualisation of bolt load on a user-configured asset and wireless load cells.
InterBolt Asset app
The InterBolt Asset app is a custom data application which is used to visualise bolt load on a user-configured asset.
It starts with the user defining the asset type and assigning the InterBolts to the locations on the asset. Once configured, the bolt load from the respective InterBolts is overlayed on the specific asset location. This enables clear visualisation of bolt load in a user intuitive way.
The InterBolt Asset app is ideal for upgrading flange management rigs such as the FADU, FAMOS, DEB and CHUCK, as well as for rigs used by bolt tooling companies to demonstrate the performance of their tools in an exhibition setting.
The InterBolt Asset app can be hosted on the ruggedised InterBolt tablet or laptops/ PCs and IoS devices.
InterBolt Load Cells
In some instances, load monitoring bolts aren’t a suitable solution due to form factor restrictions or the need to conduct destructive testing. For these applications, we have developed a load cell acquisition solution which adds wireless functionality, battery power and embedded LEDs to load cells. This effectively transforms a standard load cell into an InterBolt Load Cell that is compatible with the full InterBolt ecosystem, including all onsite and remote monitoring solutions.
Our load cell acquisition system is universal to all types of load cell and can be added to existing units.
